Is this safe?
Fair question. Here is the straight answer, before you put anything on your computer or hand it to a Super Intelligence agent.
What a recipe is
A recipe is plain text: one plain .txt file. It is instructions written in plain language. Your own Super Intelligence agent reads them and follows them, the same way you might follow a printed checklist. A recipe is not an app, not a program you install and not a zip file.
Each recipe's page lists every section, with a short note on what each one is. If something is in the recipe that isn't on the list, it shouldn't be there.
What a recipe should not do
- It should never ask for your passwords, keys or account logins.
- It should never install hidden software. A recipe contains instructions, not an installer.
- It should never send anything back to me. The text contains no tracking, and I have no way to see what you do with it.
- It should never include sections that are not listed on the product page.
- It does not promise results. Super Intelligence agents can make mistakes, and recipes are sold as is.
How to check it yourself
- Read the whole recipe before you do anything else. It is plain text, so any browser or text viewer, such as Notepad or TextEdit, will show it.
- Compare what you see with the list of sections on the product page. They should match.
- If it is not readable as plain text, or it does not match the list, do not use it.
- Use the Find tool in your viewer to look for web addresses (try "http") and for words like "password" and "key". Anything you do not understand, ask your agent to explain, or leave it out.
- Only after reading it, decide whether to hand it to your agent.
Handing it to your agent without losing sleep
- Keep it separate. Save the recipe on its own, away from your personal documents, and give your agent only that.
- Read it first. Know what you are asking your agent to do.
- Give the agent only what it needs. If your agent asks for more access than you are comfortable with, say no.
- Never type passwords or keys into a chat. A recipe should not need them.
- Ask for the plan first. A good first message is: "Please read this recipe and tell me what you plan to do before you do anything."
- Keep a backup of anything your agent will change, and review its work.
- Stop whenever you like. You are in charge, not the agent.
What I can't promise
I don't control your computer or your Super Intelligence agent. What your agent is allowed to do is set by your agent's own settings, and agents can misunderstand or make mistakes. I am a regular person sharing how I use Super Intelligence helpers, not an expert. Nothing here is advice or a recommendation. Please do your own research. Everything is sold as is, with no support promised. See the disclaimer.
